Win Lotto in Thailand

Taking part in the Thai lottery is one of the only legal forms of gambling allowed in Thailand. The lottery is run by the Government Lottery Office (GLO) and is held on the first and sixteenth of every month.

There are two types of tickets. The first type features six digit numbers printed on special yellow paper. The two-tone watermark is made of Wayupak. The special paper is coated with chemicals that make it waterproof and stain-proof. The ticket’s silk thread is visible to the naked eye and under ultra-violet light.

The second type features two-digit numbers for lower prize numbers and a three-digit number for higher prize numbers. เลขนกตาทิพย์ are also printed on special yellow paper. The first three digits are B2,000 (two prizes available), while the fourth prize is B10,000 (one prize available). The last three digits of the ticket are B1,000 (one prize available).

เลขนกตาทิพย์ is also available in Saudi Arabia. It is considered to be very popular in Kuwait, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia.

All lottery winnings are subject to stamp duty. The stamp duty is 1% for all lottery winnings, including those that are charitable. The stamp duty is also payable on all lottery winnings that are less than 20,000 baht. For any lottery winnings that are 20,000 baht or more, the winner must pay a tax to the local lottery agent.

The Thai lottery is very popular in the Gulf States. The Thai government also gives away eight million baht a year to various charities. The Thai lottery office also gives away 440 scholarships of 20,000 baht to undergraduates.
